Tesla battery diagnostics with our own app
We developed the Lemberg Car diagnostic app. It connects to the car via OBD and shows the state of the pack down to every cell group. All screenshots on this page are real, taken from our diagnostics (shown in the Ukrainian interface; the app is also available in English).
Check your Tesla battery yourself — Lemberg Car Diag app
Our Android app shows the voltage of all 96 cell groups and the imbalance of your Tesla Model 3 / Y. If it sees a problem, it tells you where to get it fixed.
- Bars and table of all 4 modules
- Imbalance in millivolts and the weakest cell
- Works with a Bluetooth OBD adapter ELM327 / vLinker
Version 32.1 · 29 MB · Android 7+ · English and Ukrainian. Allow “Install unknown apps” when installing. Requires a Bluetooth OBD adapter (ELM327 or vLinker) plugged into the OBD port.

Voltage of each of the 96 cell groups
The pack is split into its 4 modules. Each cell group is a separate row with its voltage; the colour shows how far it deviates from the rest.
- pack minimum, maximum and imbalance right at the top;
- you can see exactly which cell is the weakest and in which module;
- you can see whether a module behaves differently from the others.

Out-of-tolerance cells at a glance
A bar chart by module: blue — healthy, yellow — borderline, red — problem. The tolerance threshold is adjustable.
- a list of cells outside the threshold, with the module number;
- how far each cell is below the rest, in millivolts;
- the chart can be expanded to full screen.

Test under load
Some problems only show up while driving. We record the battery's behaviour on a drive and look for cells that consistently sag.
- imbalance under load and steady imbalance;
- the most suspicious cells and how often they are at the bottom;
- module comparison — helps find a replaced or different module.

Real capacity and wear
Besides voltages, we read the overall state of the pack. Useful both for repair and before buying a car.
- SOH — how much capacity is left compared to a new battery;
- full and usable energy, equivalent cycles, how many kWh have passed through the battery;
- cell capacity (CAC), pack temperature, BMS and contactor state.
